The MT585 is a CAT IV 600V Digital High Voltage Tester with measurements from 500VDC to 15kVDC. There are 4 preset button ranges of 1kV, 5kV, 10kV and 15kV, with the option to adjust the test voltage settings in increments of 500V steps, with an insulation resistance up to 30TΩ. The microprocessor controlled MT585 is ideal for analysing the insulation characteristics of cables, transformers, motors, generators, high pressure switches, insulators and large wiring installations as the short circuit current output is up to 5mA. 200 Test measurement results can be saved in the memory of the meter and recalled onto the LCD display. The large intelligent LCD display consists of 2 lines x 16 characters, indicating the reading of insulation, measuring time, output voltage and output current. Stored data can be transferred to a PC using an optical USB and software supplied. The MT585 can measure AC and DC voltage up to 600V, and when the external voltage exceeds 30V there is a visual and audible warning. It is housed in a robust case ideal for extended field use, powered by a rechargeable battery.
